Welcoming Nikki as our Home Manager at Hazelbrook Care Home
We are pleased to introduce Nikki Swift as the Home Manager at Hazelbrook Care Home. With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Nikki brings a strong clinical background and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents, families and colleagues alike.
A Strong Background in Specialist and Complex Care
Nikki is a registered nurse with extensive experience across a range of specialist care settings, including acute services, neurological care, mental health support and learning disability services. Since becoming a manager in 2019, she has worked predominantly within the specialist hospital sector, leading teams that support individuals with complex and varied needs.
This breadth of experience brings valuable insight to Hazelbrook, helping ensure residents receive thoughtful, responsive and well-coordinated care tailored to their individual circumstances.
A Personal Commitment to Person-Centred Care
For Nikki, care is not just a profession, it is something she approaches with genuine compassion and understanding. Having grown up alongside her sister, who has learning disabilities, Nikki has seen first-hand how important respectful, individualised support can be. This experience continues to shape her approach to leadership and care today.
She strongly believes that the best outcomes are achieved when residents, families and care teams work together in partnership. Supporting people to feel heard, valued and involved in decisions about their care remains central to her role.
A Warm Welcome for Residents and Families
Those who meet Nikki quickly notice her positive energy and approachable nature. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where residents feel comfortable and supported, families feel reassured and staff feel confident in the care they provide together.
At Hazelbrook Care Home, Nikki is committed to building a strong, supportive community where people can feel safe, respected and truly at home. We are delighted to have her leading the team and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make across the home
