Hazelbrook Care Home Welcomes Its First Team Members Ahead of Opening

Hazelbrook Care Home is delighted to welcome the first members of our team as we prepare to open our doors this July.

This week marked an exciting milestone for the home as 14 new colleagues joined us on their first day, bringing together a diverse range of skills, experience and passion for delivering high-quality care and support.

The new starters have joined a variety of roles across the home, including Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, a Domestic Assistant, Chef, Kitchen Assistants and Receptionist. Each team member will play an important role in helping us create a welcoming, supportive and person-centred environment for the residents who will soon call Hazelbrook home.

Building the Hazelbrook Family

The first day was designed to help new colleagues get to know one another, learn more about Hazelbrook and begin building the strong relationships that will be at the heart of life within the home.

The team took part in introductions, interactive icebreaker activities and discussions about the values and culture that will shape the Hazelbrook community. It was wonderful to see everyone engaging with enthusiasm, sharing their experiences and beginning to form connections with their new colleagues.

As a brand-new care home, creating a positive and supportive team culture from day one is incredibly important. We are committed to building a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported and empowered to provide outstanding care for residents.

Preparing for Our July Opening

With our opening date fast approaching, the arrival of our first team members represents an important step in bringing Hazelbrook Care Home to life.

Over the coming weeks, our team will continue their induction and training programme, ensuring they are fully equipped to provide the highest standards of specialist care and support. Together, they will help create a warm, welcoming and professional environment where residents can feel safe, comfortable and at home.
